Landlocked by Mediocrity – Leader or Manager?

Are you a leader feeling constrained by your current work environment? Maybe you’re having problems because change is frowned upon, status quo is the only way, your boss won’t let you make waves that could help learners achieve enlightenment, that metaphorical, misty shore across the quay?

Or, perhaps, you are a leader of an awesomely focused team landlocked in mediocrity, every idea you try to implement ground into the sawdust of the factory floor?
Then, maybe, you’re a leader, not a manager! Not that there’s anything wrong with embodying the qualities of a manager.
This two-second blog post inspired by this Mark Sanborn blog entry, 9 Differences between Managers and Leaders. Thanks, Mark!
