Summary
The TCEA IT manager is responsible for setting company-wide technology direction ranging from PC and database maintenance to major web initiatives. A strong technical background as well as effective interpersonal skills are required. Overall the IT manager envisions and provides the necessary tools via technology for TCEA staff, board, and members to meet the TCEA mission.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Thorough understanding of Windows networks (AD, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Database programming and skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint 2007.
- Ability to work with Cisco hardware (PIX, Catalyst)
- Comprehensive PC repair (software & hardware) maintenance skills
- Knowledgeable in T-SQL, VB, VB.NET, ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and associated programming methodologies
- Understanding of AV equipment usage and implementation
- Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Exchange email systems
- Working knowledge of BackupExec, Symantec for Exchange, Symantec Endpoint Security, lyris ListManager
- Ability to update and create reports using Crystal Reports
- Manage and update existing websites
- Manage e-marketing campaigns
- 3+ years in web design
- Dreamweaver, Photoshop, HTML, CSS, web standards and cross-browser coding
- Experience with Flash, XML, IIS, data-driven (SQL) websites
- Experience with ASP and ASP.NET will be given preference
Responsibilities
- Maintain all office PCs
- Manage and maintain the TCEA office network, databases and listserv systems
- Work with convention center staff to develop technology plan for annual conference
- Maintain technology budget
- Hold final responsibility for all web projects and websites
- Develop and maintain annual conference registration systems
- Oversee, develop, and maintain online voting systems
- Monitor and maintain office voip phone systems
